Custom Running Board Bracket

This project is a perfect example of a multiple process part - with every step being managed by Versatile Fabrication.

We developed hard tooling to stamp the worm-shape in the sheet metal surface. We then developed a flat pattern which would initially be intentionally cut out of shape. When struck by the hard die, its edges would draw into the customer's tolerance range for a perfect fit.  Lastly the three tabs were formed with a brake press to complete the part.

Ingenuity. High quality. Ridiculous turn times. That's what Versatile Fabrication thrives on.
